A Decade of Survivor-Led Chang
For the past 10 years, Sahiyo has been working alongside survivors and communities affected by female genital cutting (FGC) to create meaningful, lasting change. Since 2015, we have created spaces for South Asian survivors to speak openly about their experiences, connect with one another, and access pathways to healing. Together with our community, Sahiyo has grown into a global movement centered on survivor voices, cultural understanding, and community-led change.
Your donation sustains this work and strengthens what comes next. With your support, survivors can continue to share their stories safely, access resources for healing, and know they are not alone. Your generosity also makes it possible for Sahiyo to collaborate with service providers, educators, healthcare professionals, and community leaders—ensuring responses to FGC are grounded in compassion and cultural context.
As we mark a decade of progress, your gift helps ensure Sahiyo’s impact continues to grow in the years ahead. Every contribution supports survivors, deepens community understanding, and helps build a future where the next generation can live free from harm.
